Line A
Line A of the initiative INTERREG III refers to trans-border collaboration, meaning that the programmes within line A (for each border within the EU, as well as for outer borders of the EU, there can be a separate programme) are designed for border areas of member countries, candidates, and third countries, or (within limits) for the areas "leaning” on the border areas. In some cases, countries participate with their whole territory (which is the case with the Republic of Croatia), while in the majority of cases only specific territories within countries are included in the programme.
